Our Team
Trinity Balla {she/her} founded Grace Period in 2016, at 15 as a sophomore in High School. Founded as a way to bridge her passions for women’s health and community outreach, Trinity hopes to spread her vision for Grace Period beyond the Bay Area.
Trinity is currently a law student at UC Davis School of Law, where she is pursuing her Juris Doctor (J.D.). She is also a graduate from American University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health. She is the reigning Miss Black California 2025.
Edinna Obaseki {she/her} is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Global Health at UCSF. She is also a graduate of Sonoma State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Gender Studies/Sexuality & Biology.
With an immense passion for women’s reproductive rights & equity within the healthcare system, Edinna continues to devote her time within nonprofit organizations, advocacy, and educational awareness. Edinna plans to persist within medicine specifically the obstetrics/gynecology route. As of January 2023, Edinna joined Grace Period as a co-founder alongside Trinity.
